rainy day blues

i know i really shouldn't complain about the so cal weather, but i'm completely frozen! well not as frozen as my fellow family members in iowa, but i am cold. my toes are like ice cubes which is forcing me to take off my super cute slippers and instead where thermal socks made for hunting! i don't want to get out of my warm bed and my weighted blankets! i'm drinking coffee by the pot and craving hot, hot soup! 

& did i mention the rain?! brett and i do not enjoy driving in california rain! even though i've only lived in cali for three years, i've also forgotten how to drive in the elements. it's scary! me no likey.

on a more positive note: brett & i got to escape the cement jungle last week and headed up to paso for one night only. he had a show in san miguel at the Ranch. it was amazing! completely sold out show and he got a great tape. he was very proud of himself for not mentioning the wreck ONCE in an HOUR! so i've been busy working on making copies of the DVD and finding a great 7 minute clip to send out to all the agencies. so when he gets off work today we have a date to go to the genius bar over at the apple store since i'm not a movie maker! 

after the apple store we have to watch KU dominate in the border war:) i love college basketball! then we're off to barney's in pasadena for a comedy show. but i'm thinking we better have a rock band party tonight. our band, angry BM, really needs to practice. we have a reputation to uphold;)
