brett & i just got back this afternoon from the Pechanga Resort & Casino in Temecula, California. he was hosting a comedy show there from wednesday to saturday. let me just say it was so nice to be back on the road! we had a two hour road trip down there and the first show started a couple hours after we arrived. the hotel room was amazing! and the staff was so helpful! stupid me, i brought my camera but failed to take any pictures.
so since brett seriously had to work about 15 minutes a day, we were free to do whatever we wanted. the first day we took some much needed r&r. the second day was, by far, my favorite! we went to the spa and did the couples massage, which included a bottle of champaign and chocolate covered strawberries! and we each got facials. it was so relaxing. so after getting pampered and being relaxed we decided to go golfing... dumb! i think brett pulled some muscles and i completely sucked so i'm pretty sure i quit after 7 holes and proceeded to drink my beer.
the next day we had a late lunch with the comedy club manager and the other comics at Scarcellas. it was delicious! and i think i'm still full. i swear i gained 10 pounds in the last few days and now i have to turn around and squeeze into a swimsuit for cancun! yikes!
oh and ps brett killed it! he dominated the show, it was pretty obvious. pay attention to www.brettriley.com in the next few days and we should have some new footage up there!
